Set it and forget it right?   Is there any situation you can think of where my D2 guard should be bumped down on his 3 pt setting?

I might go with a +1.  His low post isn't absolutely terrible and he has the ATH/SPD/BH combo to drive occasionally and make easy layups. I almost never set a player to +2 unless they have 90+ BH/PER, and that's at DIII. But I'm sure other coaches have different opinions.

I look at FT, too. If he's a good FT shooter, maybe drive a little more to get him to the line with that ATH/SPD/BH.

He's a 2 in my book

I'd probably go +2 as well, but just barely. I don't have a super good handle on the 3 point setting though.  In general I agree with what sol phenom says above, but that 87 is pretty high

+1 for me. If he had more ATH I'd go +2, but I really think it depends on how much distro you give him and what other options you have at your disposal.  I'd use +2 depending on the situation. Against a 2-3 or a heavily sagging D if I knew it was coming... I would risk a +2.
