I guaranteed a soph start to my db...he started 17 of 19 games since his freshman year...only non-starts were b/c i was playing a running team and my main D was a 4-4...the player got <profanity>pissed</profanity> and lost 30+ work ethic points. Total b.s.

That's bs... U didnt guarantee x amount of plays did you? That'd be the only reason that would be even somewhat acceptable..

Set the 4-3 or Nickle as your base defense (even if you are using mostly 4-4 in your GP) and he will get credit as long as he plays in at least 1 play in the first half.  If he doesn't miss any more starts, you will get most of the WE points back.
