I'll post the rest in a bit, not up to typing up the rules right now lol.
Just to give a brief gist, you'll apply points for each of the 10 races for each driver from their driver points, car points, and track bonus points for driver and car if you want.
So for instance, for Brazil
1994 Mark Blundell 30D(river) + 7C(ar) = 37 points
1999 David Coulthard 50D + 0C = 50 points
Blundell is left with 165 pts remaining, Coulthard is left with 250 pts remaining, and the Tyrrell-Ilmor is left with 98 points for the remaining 9 races.
Track Bonuses can also be applied to 2 races for each driver, and 2 races for the car. So let's say Blundell won Brazil in 1994 (he didn't), you could choose to enact this 10 point bonus for that race only...you could only use the track bonus at one other event throughout the year for Blundell...the driver track bonuses would be as follows...
1st place finish at track in driver season - 10
2nd place - 6
3rd place - 4
4th place - 3
5th place - 2
6th place - 1
I'm not providing the results at each track, so you'll have to do some legwork on your end to see who "bonused" where
Car bonus points can be used the same way, but it will be a combination of the total team points at a venue...again for instance, let's say 1992 Tyrrell-Ilmor finished 1-2 at Brazil (they didn't) and you choose to enact the car bonus for this track, you'll have 16 points to place between both cars.
So let's say you apply those to Blundell 30 D + 7 C + 10 Driver Bonus + 6 Car Bonus = 53 points
You use the other 10 Car points for Coulthard, giving him 60 points for the race.
The highest number of points used at a race will win, 2nd most would be 2nd, 3rd most would be third and so on down to 20th most to 20th.
STANDINGS
1st place = 50 points
2nd = 45
3rd = 44
4th = 43
5th = 42
and so on
Note if you don't submit any points for a driver, he will not race and will receive 0 points in the standings which will kill any Driver or Car championship hopes.
Go through 10 races like this, budget your points, and at the end, the most points in the standings, wins. There is no qualifying for the time being, so everything is race dependent.
This is free, just testing it, putting pen to paper a bit...I've had this idea in my head for a while, so we'll see how it runs and we'll tweak it as necessary. Any questions, please ask, I know this is jumbled and I apologize, but I'm quite tired at the moment lol.
