Moving towards season 28, we have only one confirmed opening:
Pittsburgh Stargells - This team had one owner for the first 24 seasons followed by three one-and-dones, with progressively worse results. The upside here is you easily have the first pick in the draft, after a disastrous season 27. You also don't have large future salary considerations, so a rebuild is ready and waiting.
Baltimore Yard Birds - This team has been mediocre for a while and might be primed for a rebuild. It is our only opening left so we are ready to roll as soon as we get an owner for this team.
We have one anti-tanking rule, 120 wins over two seasons. If a team fails to hit that mark, they are put up to a league vote.
