Can I still redshirt a guy during the exhibition season and if he doesn't accept, can I "un-redshirt" him without penalty?  Or does the redshirt and decrease in work ethic stay.  I can't really understand if that is what the new release notes are saying.  Thank in advance for the assistance.

You can take it off and his WE will go back to what it was.

Yes, you can remove the redshirt and his WE should return to what it was before.

Pretty sure the release involved recruiting and inform of redshirt and removing that not actually applying one.
