Looking for an owner to take over the NY Mets.  This is a 16 team league progressive which started in 1994 (when the World Series got cancelled and all players became free agents, remember?)

Once we catch up to the current season, we will switch over and start drafting 1981 players.

A bit more background:

Back in 1994, when they cancelled the World Series, MLB contracted down to the Original 16 Franchises, and all players became Free Agents (or did you miss that?.....). Thus the Modern era Original Franchise Organization was born. Now entering our 14th Season!


We are a 16 team league entering its 14th season (2012). We use a DH and we draft up to 4 AAA players. Any of the 25 + 4 players can be kept into the following season (max 25). Teams usually draft 2-4 players each year.

There is a plan once we catch up to the current season (probably by 2014) that the following season we'll start to draft 1981 players (the previous work stoppage) though any current player can remain a keeper until they retire or get dropped.
