yea hes at 48%....but the 20 extra points on d, higher ast%, and lower fp48 might cause me to give it a try...depends on who i get to round out my frontcourt....most likely ill still be using his 11-12 season at sf as i had planned

Logain, yea figured Chandler for all D team, but 12-13 minutes are too short to use. Thought Kobe had a shot, if his 12-13 D was 90 and not 70 I would have taken him in the 3rd. How good is the 12-13 LeBron now? That 72D becomes 90, wow.

I went West in the 4th so now I can try a very clean high efg big with no D and 4-point usage later. A team ave of 68-72 on D in this league is enough, and with three 90's I will take a guy that is undraftable otherwise.

I think the media really dogged Kobe's D this year. I would have been shocked if he ended up on the squad.

Amare, Bynum, and Harden go right in a row - three guys that are late 2nd/early 3rd value IMO. All taken criminally late. Harden was the only thing giving me pause about trying my mad scientist plan, he was almost certainly a better fit usage- and efficiency-wise than Roy.

Kobe's D sucked this year for long stretches - he drifted and got killed on back cuts, his rotations were the worst - he can still lock down when he wants to but his focus off the ball was for **** this year

That team was doomed to 35 to 40 wins max without Iverson. Now with AI well. . . they might drop down to about top a 5 98average Power Ranking LOL! That's quite a a slide from a #2 position.

Yes, in this situation.  More points at a better efg%, better reb %'s (I assume you're using 08-09 Pau), gets to the line more.  Amare's negatives (fairly weak on the boards but still better than Pau along with his inability to keep his hands to himself) don't outweigh the positives, especially on the back end of the 4th round and especially when I can score 4000 points in the paint at 60% shooting.

I think I have a good idea about which seasons you'll use with your guys and I probably still would have taken Amare over Pau if I had your squad.  That said, I don't think Pau was a bad pick.
