Background on the minor leagues, since the ML team isn't all that great
3B Alving Alfonseca (AA) - Projects as an all star caliber 3B.. can swipe bags, mashes righthanded pitching, GG caliber D. He's a stud
3B/COF Ralph O'Neill (AA) - Not quite the prospect Alfonseca is, but he's still a very quality future big leaguer who is also projects to be very good at hitting RHP
SS/CF Boots Kubinski (AA) - The glove may not end up playing all that well at SS, but he's at least a platoon vs LHP option in a tough spot to fill on the diamond defensively
2B Ernie Mullin (LoA) - Not a superstar, but should play a quality 2B and contribute offensively
CF Harry Crespo (LoA) - Projects to 100/100 Range/Glove, and should hit very well vs RHP as well as steal a few bags. $10M IFA from this year. He's gonna be a stud
SP Luis Gimenez (LoA) - Another $10M IFA I bought this year. Future mid-rotation starter
RP Randall Gioloto (LoA) - 13th overall pick this year. Shutdown reliever, capable of throwing 100+ IP per year. No holes in his game. Should be one of the best setup A's in the game in time.
Anyways, just a quick rundown of the talent down on the farm, so it's not like you're walking into one of those openings where you have nothing to work with as far as young talent goes.
