Has anyone ever tried it?
It has been done on very rare occasions in real life but I was wondering what the effects are here

Alex Matos made a negative play every 13-14 starts at 3B with glove ratings of 81/83/81/79, 10-12 per season (sample size = 6 seasons).  A RH player with similar ratings would probably make about 15-20 positive plays... so the lefthandedness costs you 25-30 plays a season.
