I'd just like to warn other owners about Bump22 from his short time in Vin Scully. His team is currently 2-31, with an expected win percentage of .126, and he feels there is nothing wrong with this. A number of owners have voiced their objections to this blatant tanking, and I fully expect him to be removed from the league after the 80 game threshold WIS requires.

For a more detailed write-up on the horrible team he has constructed this year, so that he can "compete" 7-8 years down the road, check this blog post here.

So owners beware. Bump22 wants to destroy a team completely to compete for internationals and get top draft choices, and if his team loses 140 games a year, then he should be afforded the freedom to do so without any concern what it might do to the other owners in the league.

We all want capatilism until it bites us in the ***! I say have WIFS manage all of our teams!

Looks like tanking is an acceptable strategy in your world..

LA won 45 last season and was allowed back..
SF won 51 the season before and he's still there..
Austin had 5 seasons of 66/44/31/53 and he's still there..

Looks like it's a good recipe for success in Vin Scully..

But Bump22 is tanking MORE than the other guys so now there's a problem?

I don't remember a "beware jamesearl" thread after his S19 .191 winning %.

Was there a blog write up on jamesearl?

Amazingly the season jamesearl lost 118 he only got the 1st pick by one game. So there was an obvious race to the bottom there.
The following season he took no such chance and lost 131.

I guess what most of us are wondering is If you have no MWR in your world why complain when someone tanks?
Why single out this guy when, as will pointed out, this seems to have been accepted every other time?

LA was an abandoned team, and the Austin situation pre-dates me. So I'm not going to speak on that situation. Just trying to police guys going forward. I'm trying to get a MWR installed for next year.

Doesnt WIS have a .250 rule if the commish asks for a owner that is at or below .250 then he is automatic booting?  Even without a MWR this is fully acceptable in my eyes.  But really James should have lost his team in season 19 too.
6/20/2013 1:52 PM
Yes, .250 after 80 games.

Admittedly, we thrashed James out on world chat a couple seasons ago when I got into the league again.

His brother catch got booted, but he had no choice.

I wouldn't worry so much about all the losing now...think about all the really good players he is going to have down the road and rejoice for him.

Bump22 is at it again in Harald Reynolds world. Gutting his team trading away young, low salary ML starters some with star potential for scrubs. Worse than that he's also creating lots drama and conflict in the world because of the team gutting. People who have benefited from his lopsided trades want to defend him (and their trades of course), and others see this as gutting a good team, creating competitive imbalance, and causing good coaches to leave the world. Private world commissioners beware.....
