I have not heard this before, and the point is glancing off my skull!!! What salary cap is this team? I'm thinking thismay be the "all cookie" team
7/1/2013 1:05 PM
it's an open league - this team has a losing record (look at the differentials)
7/1/2013 1:09 PM
getting out shot in a big way.  You must be blowing out when you win & not getting blown out very much.

I've got a team that is mystifying right now as well.  I just recently had one that was completely mystifying in the EOL.

7/1/2013 4:35 PM
outshot by 2% on FG% but my squad takes a lot more treys (+140 3pm) so EFG% is actually better (but also battling a -90 ftm/ -50 fta (on only +10 pfs) disadvantage)
7/1/2013 4:42 PM
also the team just reached .500 for the first time this season
7/1/2013 4:43 PM
You are running 3 point offense when down one or more with six minutes left right?

7/2/2013 9:57 PM
no

Then ****?!
7/3/2013 5:07 PM
I did draft like 550 made 3s between Paul. Redd. Neal and Donyell - that was kind of the plan, put Shaq in the middle and surround him with 3s and see what happens

started 9 - 20, finished 44-9 (2 games out of first place in divison) - this is what the problem is: aberrant run cost me my division and the very advantageous 1st round bye - this is what it looks like when it takes 10 games or more to 'normalize'
7/21/2013 7:42 PM (edited)
been running into more & more of these unexplainable runs.

For example:  I had a team start 3-6.  Then go 34-4.  That's not quite as bad as yours but it really begs the question... why, if a team is that good, does it have slumps?  This isn't RL where players slump and as a result, their stats go down.  Players are supposed to perform based on the stats they put up.

Anyway... I feel your pain.

The crazy streaks are real. i see them all the time.i don't know, is there a "momentum" boost?(or decline)

I dont really believe in this and I know it sounds silly but ash - you were in the lg with me and tadmand where we all won 68+ games in the same conference...

I swear my team started 11-1, went 7-8, then finished the year 51-4!

Of course I lost 4-1 to tad in the playoffs (but his team also won 69 so what can I do)

I'll never understand the 7-8 stretch. I re-entered the same team wondering how itd do, and I have started the year 6-5. Color me confused!

Sometimes the hamster runs real fast in the wheel. Sometimes the hamster is lethargic. Sometimes to hamster is dead.
