The Once Random Progressive needs an owner to take over the team listed below. This is a random league whereby you draft players but you never know which season you will get to use until right before the season starts.
The unique thing about this league is that once a player uses one of his seasons he can't use it again, so eventually if you keep him long enough he will use all of his seasons, you just don't know which one will be used when!
Every year we randomly draw 4 new seasons to draft rookies from. If a rookie is already in the league they are ineligible. We only use seasons from 1950 to 2012. No deadballers here guys! When the 2013 stats become available they will be added to the players that are still on rosters.
The draft has a weighted lottery for the 12 teams that didn't make the playoffs. This team will likely be in the 1st tier so they could have 1st pick and the worst they will draft would be 4th. This is a good team that unfortunately just got some bad pitching draws this season. They have won the World Series twice of the 7 seasons played.
Everyone rosters 35 players with 10 going to AAA. The AAA players can be used also but it is also a good place to store players that maybe didn't get a good draw for the upcoming season.
We are a 16 team league with no salary cap due to the random nature of the league. We do use the DH and trades are allowed.
We are currently in our 8th season.
Numbers in front of the players names correspond to the seasons that they have already used.
Numbers after the players names are the seasons they still have that are eligible to be drawn for future seasons. If they have the word Cut behind their name then they have used all of their seasons and must be Cut this coming off-season. If they only have 1 number behind their name then you know that is the only season they have left and that will be the season they will use next season.
An XX in front of their name means they were not in the league that year. All new draftees that entered the league after season 1 would have an XX in front of their name.
