Guys, it's clear as day.  I said he had a throwing error after he was pulled.  And he did.  They stopped reading the PBP and assumed I was a moron.

And yes, Houston had 2 errors that inning.
Assuming you're a moron is a pretty safe bet.
Fair.

You have to write the ticket assuming that whoever reads it will be a moron.  That's why you gotta connect ALL the dots in the ticket.  Or you'll get the kind of response you got.

tec's right.   But, in their defense, I've repeatedly said that most tickets do come from people with no mastery of the English language.

bil play RG ball hit e letffeld 4 dubl and bill trhwn out a 3f how

burnsy sent in a 1-liner expecting a full explanation. Be detailed in your request (like tec's was worded). Send a 1-line ticket, expect a 1-line response.

I submitted a similar ticket a few weeks ago. I had a guy hit, got injured on the play, was replaced at first base, and then he hit again when his spot came up in the lineup a second time that inning.

Their response (their FIRST response) made lots of sense. They said it was a known bug, and that the sim injury replacement logic takes place between innings. Its on their to-do list.

I expect them to fix it with their normal yearly release cycle, around the end of this calendar year.

Thanks, you're better than admin at explaining the issue.

And holy ****, I said that the catcher got hurt and then made a throwing error. Their response was essentially "**** you, I'm not looking at what you asked me to look at." I don't understand the excuses for admin here.

And here's an example of a ticket that gets an appropriate response:

Please check out the 2nd inning.

Roland Moriarty is the first batter in the 2nd inning for the Radiation. He gets thrown out of the game.

Later in the inning, he comes to the plate again, and his a grand slam. Obviously, his replacement should have come to the plate.

How is that significantly different from:

Small error in the play by play - See Houston's injury in the 6th - he's pulled from the game due to injury, and then makes a throwing error later in the inning.

Missed a "T". My bad. Even Tech Support was able to get over that one though.
