pretty easy decision here....you could make a case for 2-3 other guys but imo this is the best player of the decade...

What was decided on the seasons for the draft, not that it makes a lot of difference for the first few picks.

husker I have; 1 yea, 7 nay's & 3 either way is fine. I voted with the either way group. It does seem that it may be a timing issue for some, so I'll revisit this matter in DDL#2.

NOTICE - personally I would hold off on the draft until the PO's are over, but most on the site prefer to start off the clock drafting during the PO's. In an attempt to satisfy the majority I have started the draft now. This subject can also be more full addressed in DDL#2. Please remember, we are a young league and as such experiencing some growing pains. I think we're have something special here and I appreciate everyone's input. I hope everyone will bear with it while we iron out some of the details. GL in this seasons draft!!!

I agree but what does that mean as far as seasons go? smokey need to put it in black and white or someone will question it. I thought this was DDL2.

i like that pick...personally i wouldnt have been able to pass up the guy who will probably go next but its a nice advantage having the most dominant wing in the league....hes basically the lebron of the 70s

Sorry smokey, I totally disagree. There never has been or never will be anyone to compare to the "Big Dipper". In his prime he would have eaten Alcindor for lunch and spit him out. In fact he did when he was an "Old Man" at the end of his playing days and Alcindor was just a young pup.

I know I'm being a fool for not taking who I just called the greatest player of all time and I'll probably be kicking myself for it. However, the guy I'm taking is probably my all time favorite except for Pettit. WIS hates him but how can you over look 28 ppg and a 99 on defense. I'll go with "The Big E" Elvin Hayes - PF, btw he also kicked Alcindors a** in college in the "Game of the Century.
