I don't join themes without a complete understanding of the rules. I may be a tad easily confused. Therefore--------this quote (below) is not clear to me:

"You can use any version of any player you get."

This sentence when combined with the 1976 ---1992 WIS database for player selection means??????????

1. Any player with a 1976-1992 season can be drafted, BUT once secured you may use ANY season of that player's career?

or

2. Draft and use ONLY seasons between 1976 --- 1992)?

3. Something else I had not considered?

What is the correct answer please?

Questions are always welcome and good.  No one wants misunderstandings or hard feelings

You may only use seasons from players starting 1976 and ending 1992.  For instance, should you get Reggie Jackson, you may not use a 1975 or earlier season.  When selecting your players, when you email me the list, you need not specify the season.

I hope this is of help and and happy to answer anything else good sir.

I always agonize over my first round picks, pitchers, hitters, how high to go, how low to go without going too low.  I've seen people hit the jackpot when that one lucky pick sneaks though.  I can't count the number of times I've seen people get shut out in the first round.  I think if you get three decent players a round, you are doing well.  There will be a big qualitative difference between the first couple rounds and the last few rounds, that's the one thing I am certain of.

I am about to make my picks, but won't send them out until the league fills.  I think I have eight or nine sets of picks waiting for me to open.
