Repuation Requirement Topic

Is the required repuation for a new job a hard and fast rule, or are there exceptions?  I applied for a job that I'm highly qualified for, but it requires a B+ repuation and I have a B.   I assume that I have absolutely no chance to get it, but I was able to apply.  Should I give up hope of landing it?

Give up hope.  The requirements are the MINIMUMS.

I COULD apply for a D1 job while at D3, I'll just be rejected immediately. So the fact you could apply is no indication of whether you are qualified or not. Unfortunately majique is correct.
