Just to give you an idea of where I am at... The draft is this weekend.  Really underwhelming pool.  This guy just popped up in the IFA pool.  My scouts (who are paid well) project this guy to have...

Do I break my IFA cash on this guy or should I sit tight considering it is still early and most likely stronger players are still to come.

Whether better players are still to come or not is purely luck.

Where do you sit in the draft order? What do you mean by break my IFA budget? Can you go after this guy, and still hold back at least $6M for the draft? Don't hold off on this guy just because you think someone better might come along. But then again, don't spend $30M on him, either. Unless he is a SS. Then break the bank.

If he doesn't eat your draft budget....and he has a decent Durability (especially if he's 85+), go get him.

He'll be insanely valuable even as a 1b/dh.

And I've been out bid.  

Im not sure insanely valuable as a 1B/DH is quite right, at any other position maybe, but 1B/DH you want a masher really.  Id break the bank if he was a skill position though.  Esp if I am drafting in the bottom 10 and no supplementals.

If he was a Switch hitter, he would be great anywhere on the field.

Even without huge power, that combination of eye, baserunning and speed makes him an incredible weapon. He'll lead the league in walks and then be able to steal bases at will. Get a decent hitter behind him and that player will rack up RBIs.

Despite the low DUR I'd break the bank; he could easily hit his projections (except that the 98 BR is going to be more like 88), which would mean he's going to have about a .380 OBP, with solid ML power, and steal a ton of bases, and be a credible or even solid CF.  I like.

Yes, definitely a break the bank guy with his likely future in CF.
