Arbitration/Resign Question Topic

If I take a player to arbitration for three years, he obviously won't resign with me because he's mad that I didn't resign him earlier (regardless of patience rating)

However, if I trade that player, will he be willing to resign with the team during this season (his 3rd yr of arbitration) /next year pre-FA period that I just traded him to?

This can go either way; I've traded them away and for them and had them resign, but I also traded a player with a contingency that we re-do the trade if he wouldn't resign with the other team.  The guy wouldn't resign, so we traded back...
