I tried this theme awhile ago and it didn't fill but lets try this again.

Poison Pill League

Definition of a Poison Pill

A horribly bad player, i.e. high usage with low eFG%, massive fouls or turnovers etc... Also must have at least 2000 minutes.


You will select 2 poison pills: one who is  listed as PG or SG (actual position not effectiveness %) and one who are either listed as either SF, PF or C.  On top of that you will list 2 players that you will blacklist.  ***Then there will be a draft, there will be a frontcourt draft that is randomly assigned and a concurrent backcourt draft in reverse order*** revision


The Poison Pills must start, be used in their actual position and be used for their full minutes.  When listing the Poison Pills please include the player name and year.
                  ***please note as commish I have the right to deny a poison pill as not being crappy enough!***

Also I made a edit to the rules becuase I forgot to add it in the first time.  Player must play their position, so if a poison pill is a PF they have to play PF, regardless of their position effectiveness. When you add in the rest of the roster, you can use them as you please

I want to draft them myself, and you could run the rounds of a draft concurrently.  One draft is the Bigs and at the same time you could draft the smalls.  Random assignment is good too.

In, and I agree with apple's suggestions for the allocation of players.  Good with concurrent drafts, but also fine with random assignment.  Picks coming up shortly.

Backcourt:  Gene Shue (59-60) - 3,650 minutes of crap
Frontcourt:  Maurice Stokes (56-57) - a monster rebounder, but the eFG-usg combination is a killer

OK I'll go with Apple's suggestion.  One frontcourt draft and one backcourt draft.  The spots are randomly assigned for the frontcourt and reverse order for backcourt.
