Private World Canseco is entering Season 21 and currently has
3 TWO openings. Please sitemail me if you are interested in a great world with low turnover, no drama, an effective but reasonable minimum win requirement (115/180/250 for each 2/3/4 season period, respectively), and a great blend of experienced and up-and-coming owners.
On to the available teams:
Milwaukee Schlemiels: (72-90, 3rd place in AL North) have contended in most recent seasons before falling back to the pack a bit this past year. Plenty of talent still on hand. Will be drafting high this season, allowing the owner to decide between blowing it up or building on the talent that is already there. They draft 11th.
Seattle Snorks: (79-83, 3rd place in NL West) once mismanaged, this franchise was whipped nicely into shape by a mid-season replacement owner who stayed on for an extra season. Now they have some decent organizational talent and low long-term commitments; an ideal blank slate for an owner looking to put his or her stamp on a team. Let me know if you have any questions, interest in either of these teams, or interest in the league generally. They draft 19th.
Pittsburgh Buccos: (72-90, 4th place in NL East) This is the team I would take. They've been awful for a while and thus have a bunch of young talent with a lot of high draft picks that are getting ready to contribute at the ML level. They draft 9th.
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. It's a great world and everybody is very excited to get back to playing the game. Hope to see you there.
