Outfielder with an arm Topic

There's a chance I may be platooning in CF, with one of my outfielders having a SS-type arm.  I have no experience with a guy like this in center, has anyone noticed a major benefit to having a great arm in the outfield?  As in, an additional amount of + plays throwing out guys taking the extra base, etc?  Or is it largely a waste?

About in the middle.  The AS is not wasted, you do pick up additional (+) plays-- but the AA is largely wasted since there's still a bug (at least there was last I looked) where outfielders don't make throwing errors at all.
