As we sit here in 7th place it is really hard not to look at:

Dan Daub and his 13 - 27 record
Harley Payne and his 8 - 22 record
Jim Pastorius and his 8 - 22 record

and blame it all on them.

It wouldn't be accurate but that doesn't make it any easier not to do it ;-)

I knew my 60M team would stink (I've never been good at that cap or lower), but I thought I had a good shot at making the playoffs with my four other teams.  Unfortunately I made a very foolish decision to use Norm Cash at Comerica (see my Believe It or Don't! thread), which I figure cost me a playoff spot in the 100M league.  And my 90M team I felt was my strongest -- we wound up with 90 wins, 2nd best in the league, but tragically the best team was in our division, and they slaughtered us in head-to-head games.  Hopefully my two teams that got in will make some noise in the post-season...

The Yankees won the play-in game in the 70M league, and yes, (yawn) the White Sox won the play-in game in the 90M league.  So that makes 5 out of 5 teams in the playoffs for ChiSock, an amazing accomplishment.

Cleveland's strong postseason performance (they made the World Series with all 4 of their playoff teams, won 1 and have 2 others ongoing) means that buddhagamer has clinched the championship of this tournament.  Unless my math is wrong, ChiSock will finish 2nd, and crazystengel will finish 3rd.  LA is the only other team that can still accumulate points, but they will not be able to pass Detroit.
