Dear esteemed vets of the hardball,

So, I tried to trade a player with a no trade clause. He rejected the deal.
Am I stuck? How do I ship this malcontent to the owner who really wants him?

Just curious to know if there is a back-door. I do not want to waste an hour creating similar deals hoping that he lets one slip past him...

lose more games than the guy you're trying to trade to..

They will accept a trade to a team with a better record.

For some number of games at the start of a season, the previous season's records are used. I don't recall exactly how many games.
