this thread will be as much about tracking the B-East as Syracuse.
Not sure how long I will be here but maybe in some small way this info will help the conference

4 recruits left behind by Oldman.....far better than the rest of the team.

These 3 are my recruits.
Craft is topped out in Def @ 70
Basham will probably be the best player of this class
Olivo is a project who took a RS.
If his potential pans out he will be very solid his last 2 seasons and will never be a threat to EE.

If I can add at least 3 more flawed kids like these next season... we "should" have a core to build from.

Everyone needs to realize 7 wins in Non Conference is a must / minimum or the Big East will just keep on earning $15k postseason cash.
1 or 2 Walk-ons are your friend, and a min. 7 wins in Non-Con.
Several of these coaches have only been here a season or two so alot of what they have is not their fault.
BUT, you do control next season... beginning with your Non-Con scheduling.
Evaluate your team carefully, and schedule accordingly. If you are going to be young and struggle... don't saddle the rest of the conference with an 0-10.
Try to win 7 games. If you're going to be good... (which is not a problem for most of us yet), play some better teams.
I see no reason at all this conference can't begin to climb back up the ladder and get several teams playing multiple games in the NT.

as they say (upon further review), I edited / softened some of my above speech.
We have only got 3 coaches who have been here more than 4-5 seasons.
2 B+ prestiges, and a couple B's. Stability in coaching and non-conference wins would be the first order of business to start the process.
We are currenty 3rd in conference RPI, which will change soon to 4th or 5th. But we really aren't a long way behind anyone but the ACC.
