On the available NL side...
NL North
Former New York Black Sox (68-94, 3rd place in NL North)
Best ML players: C Jorel Russell, RP Bob Miller, CF Timo Workman
Last season saw these Black Sox go through a scandal of their own, as the original owner left town in the night and stopped cutting the checks. Luckily a good replacement stepped in, and the team was able to finish 3rd. This is another rebuilding club that has been collecting some talent in the minors, so brighter days are ahead.
NL South
Former Huntington Hurricanes (65-97, 3rd place in NL South)
Best players: C Santiago Uribe, 1B Hades Harper, RP Horacio Rosado
The Hurricanes didn't have the greatest of seasons last year, looking more like a weak Tropical Depression by the time it was all said and done. If you could add some starters to this club you might have a shot at a wildcard, or who knows....
Former Richmond Rattlers (59-103, 4th place in NL South)
Best Players: LF Tommy Dempster, SP Sandy Cunningham, RP James Ramirez
There's more talent on this team than the records show. Cunningham is an absolute stud SP, and with the right moves this team is a canidate for having the biggest turnaround next year.
