This thread was originally about Princeton being open. We filled that spot, but last night on the very last cycle, Yale became open. I figured I would just change the title of the thread and make a new post, as opposed to making a whole new thread.  That's why you'll see some posts about princeton, as opposed to Yale.  This is a great conference. Very fun conference with lots of chatter on the boards. 8th best conference in Phelan, behind the Big 6 and Mountain West.  With a D prestige, Yale should be easy to qualify for, for anyone that has played at D1 in Phelan, or even at D2 for a number of years. A good coach could turn this program around quickly. They have 4 open scholarships this year. Recruiting is tomorrow night.

I'd try, but with a B- prestige for some reason I'm not qual for the princeton job......

Man - that stinks - You'd be a great coach too for the conference. That makes no sense at all. We also had the coach from Pitt try to apply but he was not qualified either. He was the previous coach at Princeton, and the team has declined a little since he left.  I am a "Keep Looking" even though we are a B- and finished the year at #6 in the country.

Well, we filled Princeton, but the coach for Yale left on the very last cycle, so if anyone qualifies for Yale (which has a D prestige), come join a fun conference that is very good. We should send multiple teams to the NT this year.
