I have a rookie player who should be the best hitter on my team, but after 37 games is batting .182 with 4 HRs despite having a 78 contact, 96 power, 68 vsL, 70 vsR and 79 batting eye......

is there any benefit of sending him to the minors? should I just move him to a different spot in the batting order? or should I just leave him where he is and wait for him to start hitting?

Congrats, bud.  Trenidad Acosta is an awesome player.  A slump is all it is.  Just let him ride it out.

I've got a similar guy that's been in a slump for 4 years then.

Maybe send a slump buster to his place. That always helps.
