Currently in 2 progressives and was wondering how close any league that came close to real stats.

In 1908 the major leagues batted 239  with a 297  OBP and a slug of 305.

In 1908 the 100 year war progressive league had a 252 avg, 312  OBP and a 320 slug.  This is the closest we ever come.

We are a 12 team progressive with below average minor leaguers (6/2)

just wondering if anyone has come with in 10 pts in 2 out of  the 3  stats.

I have not calculated for the whole league, but the Roll the Dice league has resulted in very realistic stats for my team season after season. I have posted a few examples of this - mainly in the Prog League classifieds, over the past year or so.

Try a $60m league.  With variation due to sample size, most players (hitters and pitchers) come within 10% of real life stats.
