Cap is too high, some of the teams will reach it and others won't be able to.  I'll take a team anyway, but it should really be $90 or $100 million IMNSHO...

i was originally thinking 100 mil but raised it. I will play around with a couple teams and see what I come up with. Thanks for the input

I'll take the 2004 Red Sox and an NL team TBA.

Either way I'll take the '39 Yankees.  '27 and '98 are probably better, but '39 has a certain charm...  Pitching will be an adventure, though, especially if I use a twist on Gehrig...

I feel a ball going through Bill Buckner's legs.... give me those 86 Sox!

I'll take the 96 Braves in the NL as well...

For NL, 1909 Pirates

Looks like a run on Red Sox teams, so I'll take the 1915 Red Sox

A year before I left Cuba in 1966, I was a fan of the Minnesota Twins (they had 3 Cuban players then- Tony Oliva, Zoilo Versalles, and Camilo Pascual) . In remembrance of those days, I'll take the 1965 Twins and add 2 Dodger players from the 65 team that beat them 4-3 in the WS (Koufax as SP and Jim Gilliam at 3B) ...

I will take the 1995 Cleveland Indians as my team please
10/2/2013 5:58 AM
They may fall a bit short of the 100 cap and it may be unoriginal to pick 'em, but I love the 2012 Giants team I put together.  I'll take them.

My preliminarily drafted 65 Twins come in at $95M, part in thanks to a $14M 65 Koufax in the LA team they were facing. In the 65 series, Koufax won all 3 games he started. Without him, LA's record for that series was 1-3. ...

i will try '85 Cards as my NL Team
