Merge public worlds Topic

If a public world sits open for more than 2 weeks, force it to merge with other public worlds that have sat open for more than 2 weeks

Don't merge it, close it. Same goes for any private world with double digit openings. Mergers are idiotic, and just puts off the inevitable.

I suggest that because merging allows those who really want to keep their team to do so.  What's the harm in that?

I like the idea but the only problem with that may be the number of good players in one league may throw off the programming. Think about it, owners that don't leave, typically it is because they have a bunch of good players or very deep minor league.

Could you give those waiting an offer they can't refuse, 2 free seasons, 4-pack, bottle of cheap whisky, whatever, to leave, close those worlds, then deal all baseball personnel out randomly among however many customers re-joined. Would cost WiS some money but they obviously don't give a $hit about that or they would up date the damn game, which if advertised might also draw some new blood.
