How is this calculated at D1?

Seems suspect to me that a Big 6 team that is 1 game over .500 at home over the last 10 seasons (including 1-5 in the current season) would still have an A+ HCA.

Yeah - that does not seem like it should be correct. Unless it is in an extremely tough conference. I could see realism in that though rabid fans coming out to support the team.

Q. Can you explain how Home Court Advantage is calculated?
  A. Homecourt advantage changes based on numerous factors - opponent quality, whether you won or lost, margin of victory (or loss) and location of the game. On top of that, real life historical fan attendance numbers over the past 30 years were used to come up with a fan loyalty factor which also plays a role in how "fairweather" a schools fans are.

30 years from the past???  I thought this was build a dynasty, not pay to watch.  What a let down to hear that and how quick can we get rid of it?
