The Original 16 Progressive needs one - Senators Topic

The Original 16 Progressive started in 1961 with the 16 teams in their original homes (Giants in New York, Browns in St. Louis, Braves in Boston, etc.) We are now entering our 22nd Season (1982) and need two owners for two of the strongest teams in the league. We need new owners for the New York Giants and the Chicago White Sox. Both teams have had long term owners but they had to step away from WiS. The rosters are below. We do not have a DH in either league and the draft order is set the last day of the season with a straight worse to first. We are separated into two divisions in each league.

White Sox are claimed, just need one for the Giants. They have been the most dominant team in the league since it's inception so you're getting a great team.

Does NY play in SF now? Is the league planning to stay @ 16 teams 4ver?

Thanks

The premise of the original league was "What if Baseball never expanded?" The Giants still play in the Polo Grounds in 1982, the Dodgers in Ebbets, etc. We have no plans to ever expand past 16 teams. At this point having only 16 teams pulling from the entire MLB talent pool, teams are pretty strong.

The divisions are set up as follows:
NL East
Brooklyn Dodgers
New York Giants
Philadelphia Phillies
Boston Braves

NL West
Pittsburgh Pirates
Chicago Cubs
Cincinnati Reds
St. Louis Cardinals

AL East
Washington Senators
Boston Red Sox
Philadelphia Athletics
New York Yankees

AL West
Cleveland Indians
Chicago White Sox
Detroit Tigers
St. Louis Browns
