Formation IQ value changes.. Topic

My formation IQ values have jumped significantly on existing teams. (Clarion in Stagg, Hofstra in Leahy) My redshirt SRs now have values in the 70's or 80's. Any thoughts?

I read that this was going to happen, as IQ will be more meaningful in 3.0. If it's all the same for everyone, then it shouldn't matter. Yeah I got quite the shock seeing my QB with ratings in the 90s

Formation IQ ratings were adjusted up for all players and recruits.  Moving forward recruits will be generated with higher formation IQs and we didn't want previous players or generated recruits to suffer.

The only comment I have about recruit formation IQ is that there is not enough difference in where they start between the different formations.  The starting numbers are so close in fact, that I don't even look at them while recruiting.  That still seems to be the case.

The rate of improvement for Formation IQ has also been bumped up.

redhawk, does the formations used in the game affect the growth of formation IQ?  Or is it just practice time?  What about a player's GPA?
