If yhr extent of the upgrade is just the new interfaces - especially he recruiting tab --- then a big thumbs up.

I would hope that Admin realizes that interface usually trumps complexity in software

I love the new options in the interface..and it is pretty easy to maneuver through. The engine is much better in my view then 2.0 even if it isn't quite ready.

Recruiting tab updates are nice.  Is there a way to search by role ratings?  That would be the best thing ever.

Yes. 

Select the position, then by 'Overall Rank' there is a drop down box that says "Total".  Just click on that to see the different roles.  Keep in mind that if you are not on 3.0, the only options you will have will be Total and their general position (ie QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, etc.).
