How much of a factor is fatigue for players, especially non-pitchers? Does performance really suffer?

Should the auto rest really be used? If so, at what percentage should it be set?

the fielding declines as soon at ur below 100%, hitting doesn't really decline until u get to the low 90s.

I try not to go below 96% on my staff and 93% with position players.  Like ncmusician said, fielding seems to drop off at 99%.
