Its funny you mention this b/c my brother (ohhale) and I talked about jumping to this conference last season since we're from WV.  We decided to join the same D3 conference in naismith along with another guy from WV.  We've played HD for about a year now and have 4 or 5 teams each but haven't really been in the same conference except now in the NCAC in naismith and then we just took over 2 IVY schools in Tark this past season.  We've tried to keep it local and try to take WV schools (i took over his wv state team in smith when he jumped to DI to take over our alma mater - Marshall).  Gotta love sibling rivalries, i'm the younger brother so i'm always trying to beat up on big brother lol

As part of the No. 2 conference in Naismith, it's been pretty impressive to watch what the WVIAC is doing this season. Great work over there guys!

People always trot out this thread late in the season, and it always jinxes it. Suddenly four teams that have gone 46-2 against the rest of the conference during the regular season go 2-2 in the quarters. And we're no longer top four in the projection report.

I for one love it!  Life long WVIAC fan in the real world.  every year from sixth grade till my freshman year in college I spent a week every year at the WVIAC Tourney.  Of course that was nearly forty years ago now, and only memories, but I say Congrats to all four of you.

One of us got our A$$ kicked in the conference semis and second round of the tournament. One of us is a terrible post season coach...no naming names though.

Post nc conversation with the wife:

Me: we did it! We finally won a championship!
Her: is this in that fake basketball game?
Me: well the other coaches are real. But I've been playing for years and I've come so close and I finally did it!
Her: ok go bathe the baby.
Me: championship winning coaches do not bathe babies!

2 minutes later conversation with the baby, while she's in the bath:
Me: we did it! We finally won a championship!

She smiled but it may have just been a submerged fart.

LOL  sounds familiar.   I hate when my wife calls if "fake basketball"!!!    It's as real as it's ever gonna get!

by the way, one of those four jobs is open right now. A+ prestige. Just sayin'
