I'm going to think about moving a pinch runner up to my MLB roster for the playoffs:  In general, is a guy with 88 Speed and 88 Baserunning a better base runner or a guy with 100 Speed and 70 Baserunning?  I'll try to post the individual players later.

Are you looking for (a) a guy to steal bases, (b) a guy who is more apt to attempt to advance an extra base on a hit, or (c) a guy to replace a slug on the bases in the late innings of a game?

If it's (a), I'd go with the 100/70 guy.  If it's (b) or (c), I'd go with the 88/88 guy (who would also be a lesser, but still decent choice for (a)).

I'd take 88/88 in all cases.  100/70 is barely going to be helpful rather than harmful when stealing bases... I'd rather have 4 SB in 4 attempts than 5 SB in 7 attempts.
