a low temper rating (read 0) equates to getting hit by more pitches then your average hitter.  Look at your world leader in hits by pitch and he'll have a low temper every single time.

Thanks for the comment taz21. I HAVE heard of the HBP thing for hitters, but the league leader is usually in the 20-30 range or so, which doesn't make it a rating worth giving much consideration. Is there anything for pitchers? Would that mean a high temper rating SP or RP hits more guys?
