ONE opening .... get in now and play soon Topic

No Quitters will have only ONE opening for season 29. Our World Series will end and the league will roll on Thursday the 14th.

No Q's is one of the highest rated HBD worlds and openings are rare. While other worlds struggle to fill 4 , 5 or 6 spots .... No Q's generally has one or two openings per season.  Why ?  Because No Q's is a zero drama, highly competitive world with rules that encourage long term commitment and eliminate tanking.  If this sounds right for you then I have good news !!

The opening we have is at Columbus.  They are one of our better franchises located in the highly competitive NL North.  This team has been well run for multiple seasons and will take very little effort to stay in the thick of the NL pennant chase.

Take a look at the post below for detailed info on the team.  The bottom line is this.  There is a reason our players return every season and openings are few in No Q's.  You can join a world and take a chance on winning a few free dollars.  But how long will it be before the world fills and you get to start playing ?  Numerous worlds have been waiting for weeks to fill.  Do you want to play now ?  Do you want to play in a world where the owners get along but the competition ifs fierce ?  Take a look at the Columbus franchise and give it some serious thought.  We'd love to have join us.

Here are the league rules for those interested:

(1) 30M minimal player budget(spent)
(2) no ML players playing grossly out of position
(3) competent major leaguers at the ML level
(4) no fatigue issues in the majors
(5) minimum wins 54/1yr, 114/2yr, 186/3yr
(6) maintain minors to satisfaction of other owners (while no exact number of players is a requirement, starting the season with 29 players and 15 pitchers/level will automatically meet this guideline)
(7) an owner may be given a 1 year "grace period" by the commish OR the vote of 10 owners (any owner can initiate the vote)
(8) EVERY new owner is asked to make a 3 year commitment

The previous owner at Columbus has done a great job of transitioning to a young team while still maintaining a roster that competes for the playoffs every season.  Over the last two seasons he drafted future stars like Infielders Dickie Barr and  Jack O'Leary.  He also began the rebuild of the pitching staff with the selections of  Norm AndersonHarry Malloy and Nathan Ewing.  You have the opportunity to build on this foundation while you compete for a pennant every season.

Your team will continue to win because of established vets like, Octavio Martinez and younger studs like Juan Sanchez .  Bill Clapp is the leader of the pitching staff.  And Valerio Gonzalez is one of the best closers in the NL.  Finally, there are several players currently on the farm ready to contribute for you this season.  Jacob Matsuzaka and Doug Yerkes should both be ready, allowing you to move some higher priced talent onto the Trade Block.

This is a franchise waiting for you to manage them to the World Series over the next two or three seasons.  But you can't do that unless you join.
