Type D compensation Topic

I've searched the forums and seen conflicting statements. Can anyone confirm that if you select an undraftable player with a first round Type D pick and he doesn't sign, you receive another Type D pick in the same slot for the next draft?

Incorrect.

A type D is a use it or lose it comp pick.

For that matter, THE ONLY TIME you receive a comp pick is for a NATURAL PICK from the previous season.

IOW you NEVER receive a comp pick from a comp pick not signing. Type A, B or D.
