Does it matter if a guy is playing DH as opposed to his position in the field when it comes to development?  Thanks.

IMO, no.   I've followed many of my prospects and I haven't noticed any difference in development based on position played.    That means playing a SS at 1B or a 1B at SS.

I have a DH in the minors right now who was drafted as a C. He's never played behind the plate, but his throwing accuracy and pitch calling still continue to improve. If he somehow gets his PC near 45 he may end up getting to the majors as a C.
