We all know LIVE leagues are hard to fill.  Partly due to frustration with the same old cookie teams, partly because of ridiculous too hard to draft themes.  I have one that could take care of everyone while eliminating many of the cookies.

I will set the salary cap reasonable.... say 120-140.  Each of the divisions has a different decade to choose from and has to stay within it.
No AAA or trades allowed.  The 6 divisions:

Depression               1930-1939
Golden Age               1950-1959
Pitchers Dominate  1960-1969
Sideburns/Disco     1970-1979
Cocaine Cowboys  1980-1989
Millenium                  2003-2013

Any interest?  Looking to have about 40 games min live to make playoffs and we would have some full interleague balanced schedules.

I might be interested in playing a LIVE league again.  I think 110-120 would be a great cap.  It would promote diversity within each decade, so the teamss aren't loaded with all the same stars.

Good Points.  My Idea was to have each of the 6 above themes be limited to a single division.  For example, the NL West would be based on Golden Age and all teams in it would follow that theme.  That way you have a Divisional champ from each decade.  If you notice also, I excluded the Deadball and 1920s which take care of the Joss, Johnson, Alexander, Ruth issues.  Also the 90's which solve the Pedro/Maddux issues.
