Are you ready to step into The Show? Well then come and sign up for The Show II now. We are down to 1 opening for next season, SEASON 20!
We have just rolled and are working on filling quickly so we can roll into Season 20, we are used to rolling quickly! If you are a dedicated owner (preferably committed to multiple seasons) that is interested in joining us, send me a sitemail, we would love to have you!
This world is drama free and has not had any dynasties that control this world. We do have MWR requirements that we installed three seasons ago which is working very well. I have re-started the blog, which had been dormant and will be spending more time on it soon to get it where it needs to be.
The MWR rules are listed below:
1) MWR- There are minimum win requirements in place starting in Season 17. Every team must win 50 games a season, 110 games over two seasons, and 175 over three seasons. If any of the targets are missed the owner of the franchise will have an opportunity to present their case to the Veterans committee of why they should be able to stay. The vet committee will review the case and render a decision. A one year probation period can be attained, giving the owner one additional year to hit the target. If it is not met the next season, the owner will be forced to sit out for one season before being able to apply to join the league again if they are interested.
2) You must keep all of your rosters stocked, not have players playing out of position, and all pitching staffs need to be healthy, 0 energy pitching staffs will not be tolerated.
CURRENT OPENINGS
AL EAST- Former Dover Lunkers Franchise
Season 19- 66-96 3rd Place in Division.
Draft Pick- #5
http://whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=5356
This team hasnt made the playoffs in a while, but that means it has some talent in the minors. Also, some decent talent in the ML, although a couple of players are on the older side. They could be dealt to a contender for prospects, or you could add a couple of FA's and compete this season.
AL SOUTH- Former San Juan Franchise
Season 19- 70-92 3rd Place in Division
Draft Pick- #6
http://whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=5353
This team won the World Series in Season 17 and is getting a little long in the tooth. This is most likely a rebuild as honestly, there isnt much in the minor league pipeline and there is some heavy payroll in the ML. A challenge for an owner who is up for one!
NL SOUTH- Former Jackson Franchise
Season 19- 84-78 1st Place in Division
http://whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=5366
This team has won the division the past two seasons, this past season was tight in the division with only 10 games separating 1st to 4th. With 3 power bats aged 27 and under and an ace that is only 31, this team has some top talent in the ML. Also, a couple of decent prospects in the minors. This team is poised to compete for the division and with a few FA's could challenge for the WS this year in my opinion.
NL SOUTH- Former Santa Fe Franchise
Season 19- 74-88, 4th Place in Division
Draft Pick # 9
This team needs a little work, but does have some young talent at the ML level.
