Should be interesting. Payton could be a big mistake, or he could flourish; I might regret going with the barely over 50% efg version of him (got bigger assists, rebounds, and threes but lose efg% and steals). Defense of the starting lineup is 100, 90, 84, 83, 63, and no one on my current roster is under 57, so should be an above-average defensive team. Last major rotation guy is a SG/SF who plays about 1500 minutes around 60 def.
This team only has about 450 threes, nothing special. Played with versions that had more like 550, along with bigger rebounding, but settled on this design because it's very clean - not a lot of fouls, not a lot of turnovers. Several mediocre efficiency players in the starting lineup (between 50 and 52 efg%), and my last rotation guy is in that range too, but then basically everyone else on the team is 57%+ and several over 60%. It's kind of a weird team.
It's not as good as I hoped for; wanted Nance in the second, and probably should have taken Blaylock over Payton, going for a super-clean high defense team. Still should be a contender, and if not I blew it given how good Wilt is.
