Depending on what happens in the 5th, Durant may have a run at PF/C this time. My team should look like a tasty division draft choice for someone that has built a strong rebounding team, I just hope I end up in a division filled with foul monsters. I'm not positive which version of West I'll go with, likely to be 70-71 24.3% ast% at this point. If I go with that version then right now I have 12,045 minutes and 674 fouls or a pf rate of .056, 5401 FGA's with 2151 FTA's for a 2.51 ratio, and 1858 FTM's for a .864 FT%.
IMO the engine utilizes the FGA./FTA ratio in the foul battle. Not that it matters but my FTA/pf ratio is 3.19 to 1 and my FTM/pf ratio is 2.76 to 1.
So, my basic theory is this: there is a rebounding floor in the sim, thus teams that are dominated in that area still get something in the low-40's each game. IMO it may be possible to generate an FTA advantage of around +10 per game, if my RL FT% stays in the mid-80% range then that could equate to +8.5ppg. Then the question becomes does that make up for rebounding?
My efg, and assists will likely be in the upper 1/3 of the league as well (and my D is on course to be at least average with a 90,78,70,40 start). Turnovers could be a downfall but I'm already close to 600 triples at a 40% clip so elite long range shooting will help in that balance.
I'm not proclaiming this to be a LOCK 50-win strategy, but I will be shocked if it results in a 50-loss season. Either way this squad will give me something unique to see in the twice daily WIS boxscores.
