We have 1 opening for a double season progressive that started with the 1967/68 & 1968/69 seasons, the first two years of the ABA. We will soon be starting season 14,1993/94 & 1994/95. We are currently posting keepers, season 11 has ended and we are in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The draft will take place after a replacement owner is found, all keepers are posted and I have completed the available player list. This is the 1st time in 2 seasons that we have had an opening in the league. Each season you will be able to select which of 2 seasons you want to use for each of your players (assuming they are active both seasons). The upcoming season (14) you may use 1993/94 or 1994/95, the following season (15) you will be able to use 1995/96 or 1996/97 etc.

The double season format lends itself to dramatic turnarounds. The Seattle Supersonics went from 17-65 in season 1 (league worst) to 71-11 in season 2 and the league championship (aided by the draft of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar). The Supersonics were 68-14 in season 3 and then declined to 28-54 in season 4. My Portland Trailblazers went from 66-16 in season 1 and the league title (led by Wilt Chamberlain) through a steady decline to 28-54 in season 4. The Toronto Huskies went from 19-63 in season 3 to 67-15 in season 4 (their #1 draft pick was Moses Malone). The San Antonio Spurs  went from 54-28 in season 7 to 29-53  in season 8.

No rookies, no WW. Trades of players OK and draft picks one season in advance only.

Drafts subsequent to the initial draft will be in inverse order of regular season record, with the tiebreaker being total point differential (points scored less points allowed) with the team with the worse point differential drafting earlier.
However, as an anti-tanking provision for the 1st round only there will be a weighted lottery among the 4 teams with the worst record for the first 4 draft positions. The same tiebreaker will be used for these positions.

Since this is a progressive league I do request that you not sign up unless you expect to be able to particpate for at least 5 seasons.

If interested please sign up below and you will be given temporary access to the league's private forum. If you want the team, you will need to post a keeper list for season 14 as soon as possible after you have reviewed the team's roster and decided which players to keep. All keeper list have been posted except for the available team, so we will be able to start the draft soon. My target date to start the draft on the clock is January 7, although I would like to start the draft off the clock as soon as a replacement owner is found and has had time to post a keepers list.

The available team is the Baltimore Bullets (the name can be changed). The team had a record of 29-53 in 1991/92 and 1992/93 and will be drafting 7th.

The 3 immediately following posts show the Actual statistics and additional information for the Bullets players for the 1991/92 and 1992/93 season

With the double season format, there are only 10-11 seasons left in the life of the league-join now and see all the great players of the 1990's and 2000's perform.
