College Football $80 mil cap (FULL) Topic

NFL23410

After watching all the fantastic bowl games, it's time to run the college football theme league once the 2013 players are released.

Select a college/university, and draft your entire team of players that went to your school.

Your school will be exclusive as NO duplicates will be allowed.  Any school can be used in this theme and below you'll find some of the top schools with key players but if you want to use Washington State, be my guest!

League Rules:
  • $80 million cap
  • Seasons eligible:  1941-2013
  • NO:  clones, WW, trade
  • Stadium:  Must have been used by your college, or home stadium of any player on your roster.
  • Special Teams/D/O-line: must contain 1 player from your school.
  • Kicker & Punter may be used from college of "None" if your school did not produce an NFL caliber P or K (you'd be surprised at who did & didn't).
  • Standard divisions and playoff schedule.

question about rules clarification for OL / DEF / ST

i am guessing the player should be eligible for the postion being used (mainly for OL and DEF).

EX:  Using the 2013 Patriots defense as an example.  Could whoever has Michigan use this defense when the only Patriot from Michigan is Tom Brady?
1/8/2014 11:30 PM
If you take Michigan, you'd use a defense that had Charles Woodson or Ty Law for example.  Yes, 2 teams are allowed, just no duplicate schools.

Has any school produced a greater crop of RB's than Texas???
1/9/2014 2:46 AM
sorry for the confusion, I do not want Michigan as a second team, was just using that since it was a clear example of the question.
I will take a second team, just not michigan.
1/9/2014 8:22 AM
I'm leaning towards taking Miami for my first team so I can create the league.  I'll wait over the weekend, and get the league setup by Sunday night if nobody else wants to try the Hurricanes.
1/9/2014 11:02 AM
I'll most likely take a second team too, especially if we need more as it gets closer to filling
1/9/2014 1:33 PM
I am in, but don't know which school....I will take 2 if we need it.......

Can we choose a school besides the ones listed?  If so, I will sign up as the Razorbacks.
