A pretty good result all in all, though it would be nice to have some clarity about Bonds and Clemens.

No doubt we will see a zillion media articles (and forum posts) deconstructing the results and showcasing circular arguments ad nauseum.  So before all that, let's just take a moment to acknowledge that these are 3 great players who are well worthy of their new HOF status.  Congrats to Greg, Tom, and Frank.

Again, as I've stated before on suggestions of improving the HOF voting process, adopt the same methods as the NFL, and have a selection committee present a group of finalists to vote on and eliminate guys like Jacque Jones and Armando Benitez from the ballot entirely.

But JT Snow and his 1 vote stays.  Obviously.

Also, pare down the voters.  The first guys to weed out would be the 16 who didn't vote for Maddux, and the next would be whoever voted for Jacques Jones.  I can't even believe he made it to the ballot.
