62/92 Progressive Needs 1 Owner for Season #29 Topic

Longstanding Double Progressive Needs Replacement Owner for Washington Flying Monkeys (Griffiths Stadium)

Washington will have the #13 Pick throughout the draft. Washington did trade their first round pick for Dennis Martinez P, but did get back one of the top pitchers in the league over the next four seasons.

You can keep up to 25 players going into the 62/92 draft, from the 25 MLB and 4 AAA players listed below from 61/91 season.  Draft has two parts, first the 25 man MLB draft, then a 2 day 4 player AAA draft.  You can only play drafted players in this league (any computer generated AAA players used results in game being forfeited).

Its a fun league, with great owners, so I invite you to join us!

It is an interesting mix of players and I like the combination of decades. I will take it if still available.

We still need one owner to take over a team, The Corona Lights, playing out of Candlestick Park.  This team had 89 wins in 61/91 and finished one game out of the WC position.  They will be drafting 21st over all in the 62/92 draft.

Corona Lights 1961/1991 Roster
Lew Burdette 1961 Milwaukee Braves SP $6,579,963
Mudcat Grant 1961 Cleveland Indians SP $5,780,610

Terry Mulholland 1991 Philadelphia Phillies SP $5,335,401
Frank Viola 1991 New York Mets SP $4,192,328
David Wells 1991 Toronto Blue Jays SP $4,414,289
Paul Assenmacher 1991 Chicago Cubs RP $2,788,875

Rickey Henderson 1991 Oakland Athletics OF $4,157,848
Mickey Mantle 1961 New York Yankees OF $9,968,443

If you take over this team, you can keep up to 25 of the above players.  The draft is in two parts, first the 25 man MLB roster draft; then a two day 4 player AAA draft (which is optional).  Any of the 29 players (25 MLB and 4 AAA) players can be kept going into the next season, though again maximum 25 players can be kept.

We have DH in both leagues.  This will be our 29th season (longstanding double progressive!)
