As a long-timer I should know the answer to this, but it has been years since I have been in the situation of wondering if a player would transfer.
Do players EVER transfer without a substantial drop in WE and multiple messages sent to the coach? Or do you always get these warning signs before a player leaves on his own?
I have a sophomore on my Drake team who is playing slightly less than he did as a freshman and has had a 1-point drop in WE, but no angry messages to me. I also have a redshirt freshman there who has played about 70 minutes all year (through about 20 games), but he has not even had a WE drop. Is it safe to assume these two guys will stay? Neither is good enough to play significant minutes yet, but with good potential in key areas they will both eventually be very solid players.
